Crunchy Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 6 oz. pkg. instant chicken flavored stuffing mix
2 C. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 Tbs. water
1 C. shredded cooked chicken or turkey

Directions

Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions; set aside. In a bowl, combine the mixed vegetables, soup, water chestnuts, and water. Transfer to an ungreased 1 qt. baking dish. Top with the chicken and prepared stuffing. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 15-30 minutes or until heated through.

Chicken Asparagus Casserole Recipe

This casserole is absolutely delicious. The mixture of cream of mushroom soup with asparagus and chicken is to die for.

Ingredients

1 pkg. (10-oz.) frozen asparagus
1/2 C. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
6 (4-6-oz.) fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 C. butter
1 can (10.75-oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 C. whipping cream
1/4 C. chopped pimiento
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook frozen asparagus according to package directions; rinse with cold water to stop cooking and drain. Arrange in a greased 13×9x2-inch baking dish; set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Broccoli Casserole Recipe

This is a meatless recipe but you can add chicken if you like. Very easy and my family loves it.

Ingredients

2 boxes chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 C. low fat or regular sour cream
1 chopped onion
1 8 oz. pkg. stuffing mix
1/2 C. butter or margarine

Directions

Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. In another large bowl, combine stuffing mix and butter or marg. and mix well. Place half of stuffing mix in a greased casserole dish. Top with broccoli mixture. Top with remaining stuffing mixture. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Yummy Chicken Casserole Recipe

This is one of my favorite recipes because it is delicious and quick to make. This recipe was handed down from my step son’s grandma. She enjoyed cooking for her 16 grand children and insisted on having traditional Sunday dinners for all of them well into her 80s.

3 lbs. boneless skinless chicken, cooked and chopped
1 10-oz. pkg. frozen spinach, chopped
1/2 C. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 C. low-fat shredded mozzarella cheese

Easy Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

This easy chicken pot pie is so wonderful - my family loves it and it’s so much better than what you buy at the grocery store. The texture is perfect, not too dry and not too runny.

Ingredients

1 C. chicken, cooked and chopped into small bites
1 box Pillsbury frozen pie shells, thawed
1 16-oz. can vegetables
1 16-oz. can cream of chicken soup
1 16-oz. can cream of potato soup
1/2 C. milk
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning

Directions

Put pie shell into deep dish pie pan. Mix all other ingredients and pour in pie shell. Lay second pie shell over mixture and seal edges. Bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees.

Chow Mein Hot Dish Recipe

Use your favorite type of meat or a mixture of a couple in this versatile Chinese dish.

Ingredients

1 l/2 lb. ground beef, ground pork, or turkey (leaner the better)
1 large onion, diced
1 C. celery, chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can chicken rice soup
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, or Chinese vegetable stir-fry package, cooked, water reserved
2 C. chow mein noodles
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1 small can mushroom pieces

Directions

Spray fry pan with Pam. Brown meat and onions. Add the celery, soups, precooked vegetables with water, the soy sauce, mushrooms and 1 C. of chow mein noodles. Mix well. Spray casserole with Pam, add the cooked mixture. Cover top of casserole with remaining C. of chow mein noodles. Bake 350 degree for 1 hour.

Starburst Casserole Recipe

A fairly average casserole with a white bread crust and star cut outs on top.

Ingredients

6 slices white bread
1/2 C. butter
2 C. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
2 C. American Cheese, shredded
1 10 oz. package frozen peas and carrots, thawed, drained
2 10 3/4 oz. cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In 13×9-inch baking dish melt butter in oven 4-5 minutes. Meanwhile, with 2 1/2-inch star shaped cookie cutter cut 2 stars from each slice of bread. Dip 1 side of each star into melted butter; set stars aside.

Easy a la King Biscuit Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 C. butter, melted
1/8 C. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 C. chicken broth
2 1/2 C. cubed skinless, boneless chicken breast meat
1 1/2 C. green peas
1 1/2 C. canned mushrooms, drained
1 C. cooked, sliced carrots
1/2 onion, chopped
1/4 C. chopped red bell pepper
1 16 oz. can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat; stir in flour, then pour in broth and let thicken, stirring. Add chicken, peas, mushrooms, carrots, onion and bell pepper. Mix together and bring to a boil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour chicken mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place refrigerated biscuits over top and bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are done.
