Slow-Cooked Smothered Buttermilk Chicken With Peas Over Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 3/4-inch pieces
3 medium carrots, sliced
1/3 C. chopped onion
1/2 C. water
2 Tbs. margarine or butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 (1.2-oz.) pkg. roasted chicken gravy mix
1/3 C. buttermilk
2 tsp. all-purpose flour
1 C. Green Giant® Frozen Sweet Peas, thawed, drained
1 (10.2-oz.) can (5 biscuits) Pillsbury® Grands!® Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits

Crockpot Swiss Chicken Casserole Recipe

Paired with a green vegetable, this cooked-all-day dish is a full meal.

Ingredients

6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 C. shredded Swiss cheese
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 C. milk
2 C. herb stuffing mix, crushed
2 Tbs. margarine or butter, melted

Directions

Spray the inside of crock pot with non-stick spray. Place the chicken in the crock pot in one layer. Top with Swiss cheese. Combine soup and milk and pour over the chicken and cheese. Mix stuffing and butter together in a bowl and sprinkle on top of everything. Cook on low for 7 hours or 4-5 hours on high.

Chicken and Corn Bread Stuffing Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

4-6 boneless chicken breasts
1 small box stovetop cornbread stuffing
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli (or mixture of broccoli and other veggies), thawed
1 can cream of broccoli with cheese soup
1/2 C. chicken broth

Directions

Lightly butter a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker/Crock Pot and place chicken breasts in the bottom. Mix together the remaining ingredients and place on top of chicken. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.

1 regular size box stove top stuffing mix for chicken
1 (10 oz.) bag frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed
1 can cream of broccoli with cheese soup
1/2 c. chicken broth

Directions

Lightly spray crockpot and place chicken in the bottom. Mix together remaining ingredients and place on top of chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
