Hamburger/Turkey Cabbage Casserole Recipe

Very good for home or carry out, if you like cabbage you will love this, can be spicy or mild. I got this from a good friend and revised it a bit from his. Also good Weight Watchers dish if following their plan, this is about 7 points for 1 3/4 C. per serving.

Ingredients
1 small head of cabbage, sliced or diced
1 C. diced celery
1/2 C. diced carrots
1 medium bell pepper, diced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 lb. ground turkey, browned
1 pkg. each taco and chili seasoning
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes with basil, oregano and garlic
1 small can tomatoes with green chilies
1 1/2 C. brown rice
2 10 3/4 oz. cans tomato soup
Season to taste with garlic powder,salt, pepper, chili powder and any other seasonings you like
Directions
Brown ground turkey in large skillet or pan, then add taco and chili seasonings packets and other seasonings, rice, tomatoes and soup. Then mix cabbage, celery, onion, bell pepper and carrots in a large bowl, then add ground turkey and soup mixture and place in casserole dish or can be put in crockpot. I usually have two casserole dishes. Bake at 350 degree oven until done about 1 1/2 hours or until cabbage and rest of veggies are done.
